The process of Land Use Survey, Land Use and Forest Removals is described in six stages, containing illustrative images, tables and formulas to assist or use the user. This "step by step" aims to assist the user in the process of taking Land Use, Land Use Changes and Forests (LULUCF) and the accounting of their emissions, especially the activity data referring to eligible REDD + activities , using the Open Foris Collect Earth tool. In addition, ensuring that this process is carried out in an objective (definition of focus and time management), efficient (guarantee that all steps of this process are carried out without the user trusting his memory) and standardized (standardization of the collection of data by all involved, allowing to obtain reliable data and the quality of them evaluated, and the determination of the efficiency of the process).
