This document is th protocol for the implementation of the National Forest Inventory relating to the thorny forest ecoregion in Madagascar. The overall objective of the National Forest Inventory is to update the IEFN0 with a methodology adapted to the different forest ecosystems of Madagascar. The results thus obtained will be used for the planning of development activities, decision-making on forest management methods and allowing the establishment of a system of monitoring of changes in forest cover. Inventory sheets are included.
